When you enter one of Upright Music´s websites, Upright Music collects information about you. Below you can read about the information collected, including how information is processed, for what purpose, who has access to the information and whom to contact if you have questions or objections relating to the information collected.

Upright Music collects information about you in two ways:

2.1. What are cookies?

The first time you visit one of Upright Music´s websites you will automatically receive one or more cookie(s). A cookie is a small text file stored in your web browser (eg. Cookies help Upright Music learn from your visit.
In order to determine who is visiting Upright Music´s websites, we can (but do not necessarily) use cookies to keep demographic and user-related statistics. 2.5 Cookies from Google (traffic measurements)

Upright Music use cookies from Google to measure the traffic on our sites. The measurements are performed in strict compliance with privacy law regulation.
The purpose of these cookies is to provide statistical information about the Internet user group and improve the understanding of the users at each site. The information will only be presented to other persons or companies in aggregated and anonymized form.
Information is transmitted also to third parties if this is required by the authorities.

3. Personal Information

3.1 What is personal information?

Upright Music asks for your personal and user-related information when you register on a website or sign up for newsletters, etc. It is primarily information such as name, address, postcode, email, company, title. In connection to the signing up for a service, mandatory information is clearly marked on the form. Submission of other information in connection to the signing up for a service is voluntary.

3.2 For how long do we store personal information?

If you register on a site or sign up for a service, newsletters etc., your information is stored no more than 12 months after our last interaction with you.

3.3 What do we use personal information to?

The personal information we collect about you is primarily used by Upright Music in order to know who you are and to evaluate your application for access to the relevant services/sites.
This information will not be disclosed to third parties.

3.4. Protection of personal data

In accordance with the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data, your personal information is kept secure and confidential.
However, we cannot guarantee 100% security of data transfers on the Internet. This means that there is a risk that a third party gains access to information, when data is sent and stored electronically. Be aware that you provide your personal information at your own risk.

3.5. Changes to the processing of personal data

The rapid development of the Internet means that changes in our treatment of personal information may be necessary. We reserve the right to update and amend these guidelines for the processing of personal data. If we do, the date of "last updated" at the bottom of the page will be changed. In the event of substantial changes we will notify you in the form of a visible message on our sites.
